After training with a private trainer for years, Vicki  couldn’t lose weight and keep it off so resigned to live the rest of her life in a body she didn’t love. She came into our program with a friend, trusted the process,  has since lost 20 pounds and her life has completely changed. At 57, She Thought She’d Never Lose Weight Again 

” The changes in my body are crazy; slim thighs, I can’t remember having such great  thighs and butt has moved up and much tighter. I didn’t think it was possible to drop the weight and firm my body at 57.”

As a personal trainer for over 20 years, I have to say, Vicki  is one of the most focused  people ever to come into one of our St Pete Boot Camp group fitness training programs ! Vicki came in having tried everything to lose weight including working with a private trainer for years. She’d lose a few pounds and then find it again just before trying the next thing.

At  57, she resigned herself to the fact that  she just wouldn’t be able to lose weight but we knew we had the solution she needed. Vicki came in, trusted the process and her results were life changing.

Losing 20 pounds and over 2 feet of fat is awesome..

Being smaller than you were when you got married is awesome….

But whats even more awesome is what that weight loss does for someone.

When someone’s life is transformed, it can really be a difference maker far beyond the number on the scale.

Vicki is always the first to take the newbies under her wing and encourage struggling veterans  and is a source of inspiration to everyone around her ..

Where did you grow up? I grew up in Knoxville TN and Largo FL.

How long have you been doing a Fitness St Pete Group Personal Training Program and why did you start? I started the program on May 1, 2017.

What kinds of results have you achieved so far?  Improved fitness, I feel better, I have lost 20 lbs. My body is almost unrecognizable from where I have started. I have dropped 2 sizes. A  healthier life style for myself and my family.

 How has your fitness level/health improved since becoming a Fitness St Pete Group Personal Training Member? I have become stronger, my sleep has improved, more energy, clear headed and my skin looks and feels great.

What are the two or three biggest benefits (they don’t have to be fitness related) you’ve experienced since becoming a group fitness training member? The changes in my body are crazy; slim thighs, I can’t remember having such thighs, butt has moved up and much tighter, flat stomach; I like looking in the mirror. How has your program compared with your expectations? This program has exceeded my expectations. I Didn’t Think It Was Possible To Drop The Weight And Firm My Body At 57!

Please describe how your Fitness St Pete I Tierra Verde Group Fitness Training Program has specifically helped you achieve success with your fitness level, fitness goals or health? It has to do with science. This is Dianne’s mantra and she is right. I have learned to eat differently and exercise smarter not harder. The menus are so helpful to keep me on track.

The food is good for my whole family. Exercising in a group is one of my favorite parts of the camp. I have learned so much about doing the right exercises for specific body parts. I also like exercising outside. Dianne’s daily emails and Facebook post are very helpful and inspiring.

Tell us an interesting or unusual fact about yourself. I am 57 years old and I have a teenage girl. I met my husband when I was 40 and we had Katie when I was 43. I love being a Mom.

What would you say to someone on the fence about making a change & committing to their goals? I would say come to one session and speak with other participants. When you see the fun and learning going  on,  you will want to join. We are a big happy family.
